Leisure Time Foam Down is formulated for hot water environments and is designed for use in hot tubs and spas. Leisure Time describes Foam Down as a concentrated formula that begins working immediately to eliminate foam when applied directly to the foaming area.

This product is compatible with chlorine, bromine, ozone, and biguanide sanitizer systems. It is not a sanitizer, shock, pH adjuster, alkalinity increaser, calcium hardness increaser, clarifier, or substitute for draining and refilling water when water quality requires it. Persistent foam may indicate a water balance issue, low calcium hardness, detergent contamination, or water that needs to be drained and replaced.

Installation / Use Notes

Shake well before using. Add Foam Down directly to the foaming area in small amounts, using approximately 1/2 oz. at a time, then repeat as needed. Leisure Time’s current directions state to apply directly to foam and use 1/2 oz. on the foaming area.

Always follow the product label directions. If foam keeps coming back, test the spa water and correct the underlying cause instead of relying only on defoamer.
