Smooth Flex 1-1/2" x 45' Pool Vacuum Hose w/ Swivel

A reliable vacuum hose is essential for effective pool cleaning, especially when navigating tight corners, deep ends, and long runs back to the skimmer or vacuum port. The Smooth Flex 1-1/2" x 45' Pool Vacuum Hose with Swivel Cuff (VH2245) is designed to deliver consistent suction, smooth maneuverability, and long-term durability for both residential pool owners and service professionals.

Built with a flexible, crush-resistant body and a swivel cuff to reduce tangling, this hose helps maintain steady water flow while making manual vacuuming easier and more efficient.

Why a Quality Vacuum Hose Matters

Vacuum hoses that kink, collapse, or leak reduce suction power and turn routine cleaning into a frustrating task. Poor hose performance can also strain pumps and filters.

Using a high-quality pool vacuum hose matters because it helps:

• Maintain consistent suction during manual vacuuming

• Prevent kinks and collapses that restrict water flow

• Reduce hose twisting and tangling

• Improve overall cleaning efficiency and coverage

The Smooth Flex design addresses these issues with professional-grade construction.

How the Smooth Flex Vacuum Hose Works

This hose features a smooth-bore interior that minimizes friction and improves water flow efficiency. The flexible outer construction resists crushing while allowing the hose to bend easily around pool contours.

The integrated swivel cuff rotates as the hose moves, helping prevent coiling and tangling during use. This allows for smoother movement across the pool floor and walls without constantly stopping to untwist the hose.

When to Use the Smooth Flex 45' Vacuum Hose

The VH2245 vacuum hose is ideal for manual pool vacuuming in a wide range of scenarios, including:

• Routine weekly pool cleaning

• Deep-end vacuuming in larger pools

• Pools with long distances between skimmer and vacuum head

• Service routes requiring dependable equipment

• Pools with steps, slopes, or irregular shapes

Its 45-foot length provides ample reach for most residential and many commercial pools.

Compatibility with Pool Equipment

The Smooth Flex 1-1/2" vacuum hose is compatible with standard pool vacuum heads, skimmer plates, and suction ports designed for 1-1/2" hoses.

It works effectively with manual vacuum systems and standard pool filtration setups. The swivel cuff connects securely while allowing free rotation during operation.

Built for Professional Use

Constructed from durable, UV-resistant materials, this vacuum hose is built to withstand repeated exposure to sunlight, chlorine, and outdoor conditions. The crush-resistant design helps maintain shape under suction and foot traffic, making it suitable for frequent use.

Service professionals rely on Smooth Flex hoses because they deliver predictable performance and long service life.

Use & Care Best Practices

Before vacuuming, fully submerge the hose to remove air and ensure maximum suction. Store the hose straight or loosely coiled when not in use to prevent memory and kinks.

Rinse the hose with fresh water after use and store it out of direct sunlight when possible to extend its lifespan.
