Restore Full Filtration Power to Your DE Pool Filter

When your pool water won’t stay clear or filter pressure rises too quickly, worn DE grids are often the cause. The Unicel FS-2004 48 Sq Ft DE Filter Grid Set is a complete 8-piece replacement grid set designed to restore proper filtration performance in compatible 48 square foot DE pool filters. Replacing the entire grid set at once ensures balanced flow, consistent pressure, and optimal dirt removal.

This set is ideal for homeowners and service professionals looking to return DE filters to like-new operating condition.

OEM-Quality Fit with Trusted Unicel Performance

Unicel is one of the most respected names in pool filtration. The FS-2004 grid set is engineered to meet or exceed OEM specifications, ensuring proper fit inside the filter tank and consistent engagement with the manifold. This prevents bypass, uneven filtration, and premature wear.

Each grid is built to handle the demands of residential and light commercial pool systems.

Why Replacing All DE Grids Matters

Installing only one or two new grids alongside worn ones often leads to uneven pressure and reduced filtration efficiency. A full grid set replacement restores total filtration capacity.

Why it matters:

• Restores full 48 sq ft filtration area

• Improves water clarity and circulation

• Reduces high pressure caused by clogged grids

• Extends the life of the DE filter system

Premium Reemay® Filtration Fabric

The Unicel FS-2004 grid set is constructed using genuine Reemay® polyester fabric, known for its strength, durability, and superior dirt-holding capability. This material allows DE powder to coat evenly, maximizing filtration efficiency while maintaining proper water flow.

The result is longer filter cycles, fewer cleanings, and consistently clear water.

Compatibility & Common Applications

The Unicel FS-2004 DE filter grid set is commonly used as a replacement for compatible 48 sq ft DE pool filters, including systems from:

• Pentair

• Hayward

• Pac-Fab

• Other manufacturers using an 8-grid, 48 sq ft configuration

Always confirm your filter model and grid dimensions before ordering.

Installation Notes

Before installing new grids, thoroughly clean the filter tank and inspect the manifold for cracks or wear. Install all grids evenly and recharge the system with the correct amount of DE powder after reassembly. Record the clean starting pressure for future maintenance reference.
