The Pentair IntelliChlor PC100 Power Center Kit EC-520556 supplies the low-voltage DC power and communication connection required by compatible IntelliChlor salt chlorine generator cells. It is designed for use with Pentair IntelliChlor IC20, IC40 and IC60 cells and can operate as part of a stand-alone salt chlorination system or interface with compatible Pentair automation.

This listing is for the power center only. An IntelliChlor electrolytic cell is required for a complete operating salt chlorine generation system and is not included. Confirm the cell model, electrical supply and installation layout before ordering.

Reliable Power and Communication for IntelliChlor Cells

The PC100 Power Center converts incoming AC power into the low-voltage DC power used by the IntelliChlor cell. Pentair specifies an output of 22–39 VDC at up to 7.3 amps. The enclosure contains the transformer, replaceable 10-amp fuse, cell connector and an internal green power indicator.

The power center also provides the communication path between the IntelliChlor cell and compatible Pentair automation systems. It can connect with IntelliTouch, EasyTouch or SunTouch controls, allowing the salt chlorination equipment to function as part of the pool's control system when installed according to Pentair's instructions.

115/230-Volt Installation Flexibility

The power center supports 90–130 VAC or 220–240 VAC input at 50/60 Hz. Pentair lists 220 watts of input power, with a rated current of 2 amps on the lower-voltage input range or 1 amp on the higher-voltage range. The transformer wiring must be configured for the actual supply voltage during installation.

For safe operation, Pentair requires the power center to be interconnected with the pool circulation pump's electrical source. It must receive power only when the circulation pump is running so the IntelliChlor cell cannot be energized without water flow. Electrical wiring, grounding and bonding should be completed by a qualified professional in accordance with the current Pentair installation guide and applicable codes.

Equipment-Pad Installation

The weather-resistant enclosure mounts vertically to a flat wall or post near the pool equipment. The installation location must leave adequate service clearance and remain within reach of the cell's 15-foot DC power cord. The supplied cell connector provides a direct connection at the bottom of the power center.

Before installation, verify the intended cell, available line voltage, automation configuration and mounting location. Disconnect all electrical power before installation or service. The completed installation must follow Pentair's current placement, grounding, bonding and wiring requirements.
