The Pentair IntelliCenter Upgrade Kit (522045) is a legacy-system automation upgrade designed to convert EasyTouch® and IntelliTouch® i10 pool-only systems manufactured between 2003–2012 to the modern IntelliCenter® automation platform. This kit is engineered specifically for legacy load centers, allowing older systems to be fully modernized without replacing the existing enclosure or high-voltage hardware.
Many legacy automation systems remain mechanically sound but are limited by discontinued electronics, slow processing, and outdated communication options. The 522045 IntelliCenter Upgrade Kit is designed exclusively for legacy EasyTouch and IntelliTouch i10 pool-only configurations installed in load centers manufactured between 2003 and 2012. These older enclosures require different electronics than post-2012 systems.
This kit should not be used in newer load centers or pool/spa configurations.
IntelliCenter Platform & Smart Control
IntelliCenter provides built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity without the need for add-on communication modules. Once installed, users gain full remote access through Pentair’s mobile and web platforms, enabling control of pumps, heaters, lighting, sanitizers, and water features from anywhere.

Installation & Service Notes
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Installation involves removal of legacy control boards, installation of IntelliCenter electronics, firmware updates, and complete system reprogramming.
